JUS. Legal Research gives Claude read-only access to the JUS. legal database. Claude can look things up for you while you work: find the governing statute, pull the full text of an article, locate precedent that cites a specific provision, read a decision end to end, or retrieve what was published in today's Official Gazette.
Everything Claude reports comes from the database. The tools return source names, docket numbers and dates so you can check any citation.
Legislation
Search by name, number or the abbreviation lawyers actually use — İş Kanunu, 4857, KVKK, TCK, TTK. Claude retrieves the act with its articles in full text.
Acts without articles — presidential decrees, communiqués, circulars — are covered too; their text is returned as a whole.
Case law
Search 29 corpora by topic, by docket number, or by citation: "decisions citing Article 25 of Law 4857". Retrieve complete decision texts.

Meaning-based search
Alongside keyword search, Claude can search by meaning. Ask for a concept in plain language — "dismissal for just cause where the employer insulted the employee" — and the connector finds decisions that discuss it even when they use none of your words.
This runs across case law and legislation at once, so a single question can surface the governing article and the precedent that applies it.
The search model runs on JUS.'s own servers in Türkiye. Your query text is not sent to any third-party embedding service.
Official Gazette
Retrieve the index of any day's Resmî Gazete — sections, headings and links — and then the full text of any item in it, extracted from the published PDF.

All eight are read-only. Nothing in your JUS. account is created, changed or deleted.

What you need
- A JUS. account at portal.jus.com.tr with access to the legal research module.
- Nothing to install. The connector runs remotely.
Connecting
- In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector.
- Enter the server URL
https://mcp.jus.com.tr/mcp/legaland add it. You do not need to enter a client ID or secret — the connector registers itself. - Click Connect. You will be redirected to the JUS. portal to sign in. Two-factor authentication works as usual — your password and 2FA code go to the JUS. portal only, never to Claude.
- If your account belongs to more than one workgroup, pick the one to use.
- Approve the request. Claude can now search on your behalf.
You can disconnect at any time from the same Connectors screen.

Accuracy
The tools are explicitly instructed never to invent a provision, a decision, a docket number or a quotation. When a search returns nothing, Claude is instructed to say so rather than fill the gap.
Verify anything you rely on. Court decisions are reproduced as published; they are not legal advice, and JUS. does not warrant that a given decision is still good law.
Data handling
- The connector reads from the JUS. legal database. It performs no writes.
- Your search queries are processed to answer your request and recorded in JUS.'s own audit log for billing and abuse prevention.
- The legal corpora are public primary sources. No client or matter data from your JUS. account is exposed through this connector.
